Shifts Currently Available:

~3rd shift, 11 pm to 7 am - Sunday thru Thursday with paid time

~2nd shift, 3 pm to 11 pm - Monday thru Friday with paid lunch time

Working knowledge of machinery and measurement tools (caliper, etc.) preferred

Ability to read manuals, Analytical skills & Attention to detail

Teamwork and communication skills

Physical stamina and strength

High school diploma or equivalent

Manufacturing Technicians in Old Town, ME 04468
Bangor Area Staffing is recruiting full-time experienced Manufacturing Technicians for our growing client. You will assist and be responsible for process control in one of several key technical manufacturing processes which can include electrical systems, mechanical systems and composite manufacturing process.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 am to 5 pm; $16.00-$17.00 an hour. This three month position could turn into a permanent opportunity with full benefits for the right candidates.

Tasks to include:

General production operations (composite, electrical, mechanical) and ability to read technical drawings.
Assist in manufacturing panels in various stages of production
Understand basic assembly of electrical and mechanical systems
Measure, analysis and evaluate key manufacturing processes
Perform basic visual and dimensional inspection of parts
You must bring:

1-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
1-5 years’ experience in a one of the following technical fields:
Composite manufacturing (RTM, LRTM, vacuum infusion, etc.)
Electrical manufacturing (wiring assembly, testing and measuring, etc.)
Mechanical manufacturing (quality control, component assembly, metal fabrication etc.)
Experience working in teams and/or team activities.
Experience with Lean manufacturing tools and concepts
Ability to use a variety of hand & measuring tools and shop equipment for modification, fabrication, and repair. (and/or mechanical, electrical, composites)
Basic knowledge and experience with Office applications.
Strong work ethic.
Must be able to pass federal background check
