BASS is recruiting for manufacturing associates to fill 4 Machining Operator positions for our client in Brewer, Maine. Ideal candidates have experience yet our client is willing to train career minded, mechanically inclined individuals. Shifts/Positions Currently Available:

3rd shift, 11 pm to 7 am - Sunday thru Thursday- $13.07 an hour.

Potential Upcoming Shifts :

2nd shift, 3 pm to 11 pm - Monday thru Friday - $13.07

1st shift, 7 am to 3 pm - Monday thru Friday - $12.07

Machining Operators ensure parts are machined to specs, examine finished products for defects, and program & monitor machine to ensure production issues are resolved promptly.

These full time positions have great benefits once the evaluation period/requirements have been met via Bangor Area Staffing.
Requirements
-You must be have basic math skills and ability to read and interpret documents.
-You must be able to stand for long periods/shift, lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion, fine motor skills, bend, reach, crouch, and meet vision requirements.
-Steel toed footwear required.
-HS diploma or equivalent - Meet background check requirements.

Materials & Inventory Specialist in Old Town, ME 04468
Description
Great opportunity with a growing company!! BASS is recruiting for a Materials & Inventory Specialist for our growing manufacturing client.

Some tasks to include:

Ordering/Purchasing- Place orders for all materials used in the manufacturing process at best pricing
Ensure all departments have materials on hand for production utilizing various equipment, i.e. forklift, pallet jack, etc. Deliver materials to the respective production work cells and departments. Forklift experience preferred yet not required.
Logistics- Setup and manage all shipping partners & track all inbound and outbound shipments
Inventory management - Develop, track, and maintain accurate shop inventory and prepare weekly status reports
Requirements
~Candidates will have inventory management, receiving, & purchasing(preferred) experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have proficient Excel skills, good communication skills, and attention to detail.

~Our client is growing and needs candidates who have the willingness and ability to continue to learn new skills, processes and technologies over time is a must.

~Demonstrate a highly motivated work ethic & Ability to accurately follow instructions and take direction.

~Ability to respond to frequently changing production pressures & must handle numerous projects in progress at one time.

~Must have valid driver's license and will need to meet all background checks requirements.

Education: High School diploma required; Associates in Business or related a plus.

This full-time position will go permanent with benefits once evaluation requirements are met. Pay based on experience - $17-$22 an hour.
