Description
Direct Hire opportunity! The BASS team is recruiting an Inventory Control Specialist for our local client. You will be helping ensure inventory is accounted for at our client's retail locations. Great starting pay: $18 to $20 per hour! Day shift: typically Monday thru Thursday, approximately 7:00am-6:00pm (with some variability, depending on the day's schedule); occasional overnight travel is be required. Some duties include:
- Assisting with regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy. This is completed with the use of a handheld computer.
- Reviewing results to identify issues and discrepancies, and reconcile accordingly.
- Ensuring completeness of the inventory counts, including understanding how to account for pending credits, missing invoices, deliveries, etc.
- Verifying logs and ensuring controls are being followed.
Requirements
- Good basic math skills
- Good basic computer skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle
- Must meet background check requirements
